| When your job requires using screws in hardwood lumber, it is always best to drill a pilot hole first. To make the job easier, try these simple tips: 1.) apply wax or soap on the screw before inserting and 2.) try to avoid “slotted” screws instead using either “Phillips” head or the “star” head type. |
