| What size medallion is appropriate?
•For a dining room, entry way, or bedroom, choose a medallion that has a larger diameter than the light fixture. See Figure 1.
•For a powder room or small hallway, choose a medallion that is smaller in diameter than the light fixture. See Figure 2.
•It is not recommended that the medallion is the same size as the fixture. This creates a "column" effect that perceptually lowers the ceiling and makes the room seem smaller. See Figure 3.
